September Challenge at Pretty Paper Studio

Hi everyone!!! Ime here to share a project I did for this month's challenge with "Party " theme.  I created some table decors and mixed media place cards.

Pinwheels and 3d butterflies  for table decorations are fun and easy to make. Sprinkling some sequins is also a great way to add colors for the table.

Watch out for a photo tutorial on how I did the place cards.

Lasting Impression August 16, 2014 Mixed Media Layout Class

Here are layouts we did last Saturday at Lasting Impressions.

Layout 1

This made this layout using a 12x12 arylic for my base. I use prima butterfly stencil and viva decor 3d stamp paint (white) for my background. Viva decor 3d stamp paint (gold) to color the edges. 

Here, I also use Tim Holtz reverse stamp for the background.

On this cluster, I added paper flowers and leaves, resin, metal pieces and some sticker then I added some gold 3d stamp paint on random areas.

Here are some fussy cutting I did, added some small flowers then painted gold 3d stamp paint to some areas of the cut outs.

Layout 2.

For the background, I used pabeo sand textured paste then added some silver crush glitter. After drying I painted it with gold drawing ink

On this cluster I added flowers, resin, paper straw and some layered papers underneath.

Layout 3.

This is a simple layout created using simple techiques. 

Beautiful resin pieces altered by adding embossing powders.

For the background I use stars stencil. I also use 3 colors of chalk inks to creat this background using baby wipes to spread the chalk inks.

Layout 4.

Here I use my favorite picture of me and my son... just cant help it to smile everytime I see this photo.

This is also a simple layout created with stenciling and stamping.

Loving sequins right now.

Tried out this new product from Lasting Impression. Viva decor trasparent crackling paste. Just love the effect of this medium.

Pretty Paper Studio August Challenge - Sew Lovely

Hi everyone! Ime here to share a mixed media layout and a card with any kind of stitching for Pretty Paper Studio August Challenge - Sew Lovely.

Here is my layout.

On this cluster, I use a lot of die cut pieces from Crate Paper DIY shop collection. I added some gauze underneath the paper flowers.

Here I used some light molding paste then painted over it with watered down Prima Chalk Edgers.

Mixed Media Tag for Pretty Paper Studio

Hi everyone!! Ime  here to share a mixed media tag I've created for this month challenge.  The challenge is to create any project using the colors from our new website.

Here is my tag.

I used a heavy cardstock for my base.  I added some dry wall tape and gauze then sprayed some mist.  When everything is dry I started adding my embellishment using a hot glue gun. Lastly, I did some stamping and painted mediums on the edges to give the tag more texture.

Handmade Flower Photo Tutorial

Hi crafters! Ime here to share on how I did my handmade flowers. This is my first handmade flowers, they have a distress and vintage look I just love them!! I definitely will make more of these for future projects.

Here is the mixed media card I did using the handmade flowers.

Here is how I made the flowers.

First I punched 3 big pieces of flowers and two small flowers ( any kind of flower die will work on this technique). With my embossing tool and mat, I pressed it at the tip of petal going down to the center of the flower.

This is how the flowers should look like

Glue the petals on top of each other.

I added glue in the middle of the flower then sprinkled distress glitter and crush glass glitter over it.
