Hi everyone! I'm here to share 2 layouts for Pretty Paper Studio March Challenge "Clean and Simple".
Here is my first attempt on a clean and simple layout.
I tried my best to keep it simple and clean. I created the backgound by using molding paste mixing it with a little mist to add color then with a palette knife I spread the paste on random areas making sure that the strokes were in different directions to create texture.
Some close-ups
The arrows are Websters stamp inked with wild honey distress ink. I mixed it up with some wood veneers and sequins.
I just love this camera stamp, also from Websters, inked with momento. I fussy cut them then traced the white portions with wink of stella then distress the edges with walnut stain. I also added glossy accents on the lens of the camera.
This cute chippie is from blue fern studio primed with gesso then inked with salty ocean. While it's still wet I sprinkled gold embossing powder on random areas then heat set it.
This cluster of flower is from prima I added some gesso to make it shaby chic. Underneath the flowers are some layers of pattern paper from mme.
Here I used mini peacock stencil from TCW. Watch out for a photo tutorial on how I did it=)
Here's my second layout.
I made this layout under 2 hours. The background is all stamped with distress inks using different sizes of acrylic blocks.
A close-up on the background plus some wood veneers that are inked with brushed corduroy distress ink.
This is a blue fern chippie, the color was quite dard to begin with so instead of inking it with distress inks I painted it with cream acrylic paint.
Here is the camera strip stamp from websters stamp set.
That's all for now. Thanks for dropping by!!!
Happy crafting everyone!!!
